Rise - Banana Nut Bread

Having taken a time out in order to revive my taste buds, I seem to have accidently quit vaping - imagine that. It was not my intention to quit, but it seems to have happened. Well, I charged my MVP back up and cracked open a bottle of Rise Vapor's Banana Nut Bread e-juice. I have to say, Rise really nailed it with this one. True to its name, Banana Nut Bread tastes exactly like banana nut bread.

Banana Nut Bread is sweet, but not very sweet. It is more like a bread than a cake, as it should be. I suppose the best way to describe this liquid is as a tasty blend of bananas, nuts and bread. I never thought of "bread" as a flavor before but it seems to be. Or maybe it's a texture? A texture with flavor? In any case, it doesn't really matter. The point is this is an excellent dessert or bakery vape. It really goes good with a nice warm cup of coffee. I would not call it an all day vape however. It doesn't take long before the taste buds grow used to the flavor and it loses that initial "ahhh" sensation. Yes, this is the type of liquid that should be set aside and vaped as a special treat. In this way it will never let you down.

Rise's Banana Nut Bread does well on a dripper as well as in a tank. It produces decent clouds of vapor and tastes good. What more can you ask for?

Innevape - Shanghai Vintage Blend

It's been awhile since I've reviewed any juice as it was all starting to taste the same to me. I had to step back and give my taste buds a break. My dry spell has come to an end. I had an opportunity to try Innevape's Shanghai Vintage Blend and was very impressed.

Shanghai Vintage Blend is the second of five premium blends to be released as part of Innevape's Vintage Blend line. Vintage Blend e-liquids undergo a process in which they are aged in a wood-fired oak barrel in order to enhance the flavor.

The name "Shanghai" does not give one much in the way of clues as to what to expect in terms of flavor. Upon opening a bottle and giving it the sniff test, Shanghai smells like cola. It smells like a high quality cola, no doubt about that. This liquid is made for dripping. The first draw tastes like cola. Once it begins to heat up, the true flavor comes forth. Shanghai is a spicy blend of Chai Tea, Gingseng and Horchata in addition to the fizzy cola base. Of course, I am not sure if there is cola involved, as once you get going this liquid ceases to taste like cola and tastes more like a good Chai T. Think Starbucks.

Shanghai Vintage Blend comes in a 30 ml bottle in a protective pouch and classy looking box. The packaging is as classy as the liquid within. Shanghai is worth every penny of its $28 price as it is definitely a top shelf product and does not disappoint. If you have a taste for rich, exotic, spicy liquids and/or Chai T, you have to give this one a try.

Elven Forest Vapors - Dwarven Donuts

I'm a real sucker for good dessert vapes and have been looking forward to reviewing Elven Forest Vapor's Dwarven Donuts for some time now. Dwarven Donuts is not the kind of e-liquid you can vape all day as it is a very rich and flavorful Boston Cream donut flavor.  Words cannot explain how close to the real thing this rich and delicious e-juice tastes.

Elven Forest Vapor's product description reads, "There's nothing quite like a good Boston Creme donut! This e-juice takes the donut, Boston Cream custard, and chocolate glaze to a new level!"  They are not exaggerating when they make this claim.

Boston Cream donuts are one of my all time favorites. The sad thing is, they are not good for you. Donuts are one of the most unhealthy foods there is, so I was elated to discover an e-liquid that tastes exactly like a Boston Cream donut. No fat, no sugar, just flavor. Plenty of flavor.

Elven Forest vapor's Dwarven Donuts is a very bold flavor e-juice. There is no skimping on flavoring here. Like I said earlier, it is a very rich flavor so it is not something that you are likely to want to vape all day, but it does make a nice treat and goes good with morning coffee. If you like Boston Cream donuts, you have to try a bottle of Dwarven Donuts. It's that good.

E-Shish - Cherry Cola

Upon opening a bottle of EShish Cherry Cola the aroma of cherry flavoring is most apparent. It smells very much like cherry flavored cough drops. I've always liked cherry cough drops so this is a good thing in my book.  Upon inhaling this aromatic e-liquid, I find it also tastes very much like a cherry flavor cough drop minus the medicine taste.

Eshish Cherry Cola is a sweet liquid that tastes more like cherry candy than it does cola. This is not to say that the cola flavoring is lacking, just that the cherry flavoring is very bold and intense. This is a perfect flavor for anyone who enjoys cherry flavored candy with a bit of fizz.

Eshish Cherry Cola is an 80/20 PG/VG blend that delivers plenty of flavor and an adequate amount of vapor. I prefer bold flavorful liquids above all else and Eshish delivers just that. I'm a big fan of cherry cola and although the cola flavoring is more subtle than the sweet cherry flavoring in this particular e-liquid, there is just enough fizz to make it interesting. Overall, Eshish Cherry Cola is a winner.

Mutant Sauce - Shredder

I enjoy a nice surprise every now and then. This past weekend I had one in the form of a new e-liquid that made me go "wow!" The liquid I am referring to is Shredder, the newest addition to the Mutant Sauce line. Shredder produces some of the biggest clouds I have ever seen come out of a normal everyday device.

Shredder is a strawberry flavor in the same vein as Suicide Bunny but not quite as milky and creamy. It is very bold and flavorful nonetheless and produces cloud after cloud of sweet tasting vapor. I tried some in a clearomizer on an eGo Twist type battery at The Violet Flame this past weekend. I was surprised a how much vapor it produced. Afterwards I tried dripping some and all I can say is "wow!"  I didn't even have to inhale very deeply in order to exhale cloud after cloud after cloud of vapor. On top of that, it was full of flavor.

Like all of Mutant Sauce's liquids, Shredder is made for dripping.  It is an 80/20 VG/PG blend. Shredder tastes like Strawberry Quick. The product description reads: " Strawberry Milky - Remember when you were a kid and drank that milk with that rabbit on the label? Mutant Sauce remembers, and we did our damn best to recreate that nostalgia with this juice. We're very happy with the results."  And they should be as they nailed it as far as he flavor goes.

I brought a bottle home with me and have been vaping it ever since. This is good stuff and makes a fine all day vape. It's been three days now and I haven't touched another flavor. And I am enjoying blowing cloud after cloud after cloud. What more can a vaper ask for?

4 Corners E-Juice - Strawberry Lemonade

Strawberry Lemonade by 4 Corners E-Juice is a very light and mild blend of lemon and strawberry flavorings. Although light, there is just enough flavoring in this juice to make it taste like one would expect from a nice strawberry lemonade flavor.  This liquid is sweet and slightly tart as a lemonade flavor should be.

4 Corners Strawberry Lemonade produces plenty of vapor. It seems to be formulated for vaping in a tank and not in a dripper. In a dripper there is plenty of vapor but not too much in the way of flavor. This is to be expected as this is a 50/50 PG/VG blend.

4 Corners E-Juice believes in pre-mixing and steeping their juice before selling it. This way it is ready to vape as soon as their customers open a newly purchased bottle. I let this particular bottle steep even longer. I'm not sure if it brought out any additional flavor or not as it still seems to be very light and mild, but does taste like strawberry lemonade.

Rise Liquid Vapour - Banana

I spent the past week vaping a bottle of Rise Liquid Vapour's Banana flavor e-liquid while waiting for a new power adapter for my laptop to arrive. My new kitten chewed the power adapter cord and basically put me out of the writing business for a short while.  I had been planning on reviewing Rise Liquid Vapour's Banana flavor e-liquid at the time.  Rather than take notes and move on, I decided to just keep vaping and vaping Banana until it was all gone.

Rise Liquid Vapour's Banana flavor e-liquid is one of the better banana flavors I have tried.  This is a very natural tasting banana flavor rather than a candy banana flavor. Although not a subtle flavor, Rise's Banana e-liquid is not a bold flavor either.  Rise's Banana is strong enough to taste and produces a decent amount of vapor.

Taking a look at the product page on Rise Vapour's site, Banana is described as "Dripping with the mouth-watering flavor of luscious bananas." I never really thought of banana as a "mouth-watering" flavor before, but that's besides the point. The bottom line is that anyone looking for a decent natural banana flavor e-liquid should find that Rise Liquid Vapour's Banana flavor e-liquid is just that.

Mutant Sauce - Raphael

Who doesn't like a nice surprise? Last week I received a message from Tasha at the Violet Flame & Rockin' Vapors asking me to stop by and check out a new line of juice. After arriving at the Violet Flame, I was greeted with a sample of Mutant Sauce's Raphael which is a flavorful combination of strawberry and banana. All I can say is, it was good, very good. I proceeded to go down the line and try each and every flavor. I was really impressed by how bold and flavorful each of these locally made flavors are.

I went home with a bottle of Raphael and have had a really hard time putting it down.  It is not very often that I come across a juice that is this bold and flavorful. Although it was very good in a clearomizer on an eGo battery, it is extremely good in a dripper.

Raphael, as well as the other flavors in the Mutant Sauce line, is named after one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It is a very bold and flavorful banana strawberry e-juice.  It smells and tastes a lot like Gerber's banana flavor baby food with the addition of strawberry. Yes, if you still like Gerber baby food, this is the bomb!

Like I said, I have been stuck on this juice all week.  It is sweet, but not sugary sweet. It produces tons of delicious vapor and is not lacking in terms of flavor. As long as Mutant Sauce sticks to the recipe and leaves things as they are, I think this line is going to be a sure hit.

4 Corners e-Juice - Electric Relaxation

A name like "Electric Relaxation" is sure to get one's attention, or at least arouse one's curiosity a bit. 4 Corners e-juice is a line of e-liquid manufactured and sold by Vape Square. Electronic Relaxation is one of several flavors in this line.

Electronic Relaxation is a pleasant tasting guava flavored e-liquid.  There is nothing fancy here, just a straight forward guava flavor that is light, refreshing and natural.

Guava is a tropical fruit native to Mexico, Central America and South America. The fruit smells similar, but not quite the same, as a lemon. There are different varieties of guava.  Some produce fruit that is sweet while others produce fruit that is bitter or sour.

Electronic Relaxation is made with a guava flavoring that is sweet rather than sour or bitter. Although it is sweet, it is a natural type of sweetness rather than a sugary type of sweetness.  Electronic Relaxation produces plenty of vapor and is sure to please the palate of anyone looking for a light and refreshing summertime or tropical vape.

Although Electronic Relaxation is not a very bold flavor, there is enough flavor in each and every inhale to keep you going and going.  Electronic Relaxation can easily become an all day vape as it isn't something you will quickly tire of. In addition, its simply tasty and very refreshing.

Obsession Vapor's Fame is a delicious blend of banana, strawberry, pineapple, and coconut cream flavorings. Like all of Obsession's e-liquids, Fame comes in a clear glass bottle with a dropper and was created by the makers of the ever popular Space Jam line of e-juice.

Upon opening a bottle of Fame, your senses are stimulated by the aroma of this sweet and fruity e-liquid. Obsession Vapor does not skimp on flavoring.  From the first draw to the last exhale, Fame pleases and delights the fruit lovers tastes buds.

Fame produces quite a bit of smooth and tasty vapor. There is no doubt that Fame is a premium e-liquid made from the finest ingredients. Although there are many tropical fruit blends on the market, I have to say, this is one of the best.  It may not be the best, but it is definitely up there with the best of them.

503 - Mango

Smokeless Smoking's 503 Mango flavor e-liquid comes in a blue cobalt bottle with a dropper and produces lots and lots of vapor. Other than that, 503 Mango is difficult to describe.

Upon opening the bottle, the aroma smells more like rubber than it does mango or any other fruit for that matter. It's not an overpowering aroma, but it is noticeable.

Upon inhaling, and then exhaling, 503's Mango flavor e-juice, it is a relief to find that it does not taste like it smells. The problem is, 503's Mango flavor does not taste like mango or much of anything really. I've been trying really hard to pick up on the flavor but it eludes me.  I have delayed this review for three days in an attempt to give it another chance and then yet another chance. For the most part, there is no flavor except for the first inhale or two with a brand new coil or cotton in a dripper. Those are rare moments when you can taste something, but it doesn't seem to be mango.

Smokeless Smoking's 503 line is full of hits and misses. Mango is a miss.  It is great as far as vapor production goes, but it totally fails in terms of flavor.

Great Vapes - Caramel Machiato

Great Vape's Caramel Machiato E-Liquid is available in both their "Natural and Organic" line and their "All Organic" line of e-liquids. The major difference between these two lines is the PG. The Natural and Organic line contains PG while the All Organic line doesn't. The bottle we are reviewing is from the "Natural and Organic" line.

Caramel Machiato is a popular coffee flavor beverage made with fresh steamed milk, vanilla-flavored syrup, espresso and caramel sauce. Unlike most coffee flavor beverages, the espresso is added to the milk rather than the milk being added to the espresso. So here we have a beverage where the emphasis is on the milk rather than on the espresso.

Great Vape's e-liquid version of this delicious beverage is very light and mild. What tastes somewhat like Bavarian cream and marshmallow, combined with hints of coffee and caramel flavoring, makes this an ideal morning coffee or after dinner treat. Like the beverage, the emphasis is on the milk or cream with the coffee and caramel flavoring adding additional, though very subtle, layers of flavoring.

Great Vape's Caramel Machiato produces quite a bit of vapor and is mild enough to be an all day vape. This is not a bold flavor but rather a very subtle flavor. If you are looking for a light coffee flavored vape, this is a good juice to try. It has a lot less calories than the Starbuck's version so you can enjoy it all day long if you like.

Rise Liquid Vapor - Crunchy Captain

Rise Liquid Vapor's Crunchy Captain tastes a lot like the famous breakfast cereal with a similar name. Cap'n Crunch cereal was introduced to the world in 1963.  It was developed to taste like brown sugar and butter over rice and is made with sweetened corn and oats. Over time, a number of different varieties of Capt Crunch cereal made their way to the market.  Rise Liquid Vapor's Crunchy Captain is formulated to taste like the original flavor.

Like all of Rise Liquid Vapor's products, Crunchy Captain is a premium VG-based e-liquid designed to produce large puffy clouds of vapor. In addition. like all of Rise Liquid Vapor's e-liquids, Crunchy Captain does not contain any nicotine.  This juice was made for dripping and cloud chasing.

Although Crunchy Captain tastes like the popular breakfast cereal, it is not a bold flavor due to its pure VG base. It is not as sweet as the breakfast cereal, but has that same "brown sugar and butter over rice" flavor. In addition, it seems that there may be a hint of vanilla and possibly almond flavoring. It's hard to tell as it is a rather mild flavor.

Crunchy Captain performs exactly like you would expect a VG based e-liquid to perform. It produces large clouds of vapor. If you enjoy exhaling huge clouds of vapor and have a taste for Captain Crunch breakfast cereal, this juice is definitely for you.

Eshish E-Liquids - Chocolate & Mint

Eshish E-Liquid's Chocolate & Mint e-liquid is a fine blend of dark chocolate and peppermint cream. Like all of Eshish's e-liquids, Chocolate & Mint is 80/20 PG/VG as it is designed to deliver maximum flavor. Although it is not a max VG blend, Chocolate & Mint produces plenty of flavorful vapor along with a nice throat hit.


Chocolate & Mint is more chocolate than mint and is sure to please anyone with a taste for chocolate flavored e-juice. I received a bottle from Vape Club in the UK. Their product description reads, "Fulfill your sweet cravings without feeling guilty with our chocolate & mint e-juice. The creamy yet rich taste from the chocolate aroma will soothe your senses whilst the fresh and exhilarating peppermint will leave you feeling awake and ready to start the day."

Personally, I have come to think of Chocolate & Mint as the perfect after dinner vape.  It is rich and creamy like a good gourmet after dinner chocolate mint treat should be.  Although it is sweet, it is not very sweet. While many chocolate mint e-liquids taste like Peppermint Patties, Jr. Mints or Mint Girl Scout cookies, Eshish's Chocolate & Mint is not as bold or sweet as any of these. It's somewhat of a more subtle and refined flavor.

If you enjoy a good dark chocolate with a hint of mint, Eshish Chocolate & Mint e-juice is very likely to please you.

Thunderhead Vapor - Atlas

Thunderhead Vapor has a relatively new line of e-liquids that were designed for dripping. This line is known as their "Cloud Chaser" line and consists of eleven different flavors to date. All eleven flavors are premium e-liquids that come in glass bottles with a dropper. They are all 80/20 VG/PG and are only available in zero, 3 mg and 6 mg nicotine levels.

Atlas is a delicious blend of crisp red apple and honeysuckle.  Neither apple nor honeysuckle are bold flavors.  When blended together, these two mildly delicious flavors combine to make one smooth and delicious flavor that is slightly sweet and very pleasant to vape.

Although Atlas, like most e-liquids that are high VG and low PG, doesn't produce much in the way of a throat hit, it delivers huge clouds of vapor as promised. I've been carrying a bottle around town and letting everyone who is set up to drip give Atlas a try.  The consensus is that it tastes pretty good. I have yet to meet anyone who didn't like it.

I find that red apple and honeysuckle complement each other very well.  Atlas is delicate yet flavorful enough to be an all day vape. It really smells delicious when you open the bottle and is quite tasty once you begin to inhale.

Although I like to drip, I am not a cloud chaser.  Based on the amount of vapor I am getting with a simple duel coil 1 ohm build in a mechanical mode with a 10 amp battery, I have to say I am impressed and can only imagine how huge the clouds would be if I were sub-ohming with a 30 amp battery. I'm also getting quite a bit of vapor with a single 1.5 ohm coil on a Vamo 2 at 7 watts. In addition, I'm getting a satisfying amount of apple and honeysuckle flavoring with both setups.

Vampire Vape - Black Ice

Vampire Vape's Black Ice is an e-liquid that you are either going to love or hate. Black Ice is a combination of aniseed and cool ice menthol.  It smells like a black jelly bean and tastes like a combination of Black Jack gum and mint. Black Jack Gum is an aniseed-flavored chewing gum that was created in 1869 and marketed well into the 1970's when interest in it faded.  It was later revived when Cadbury Adams started making a single batch once every few years.

Vampire Vape's Black Ice has a strong licorice and menthol flavor that is mildly sweet. This unique flavor is made in the U.K. by Vampire Vape, a company based in Manchester. I received a bottle from Vape Club, an electronic cigarette store in the U.K. that carries premium e-liquids from around the world.

Black Ice is not as bold as I imagined it would be but is still pretty strong and very flavorful.  I would not suggest that Black Ice is, or can be, an all day vape as it's just not the type of flavor you want to vape for hours on end, but it is a great juice to rotate with other flavors.

I've never thought of licorice or aniseed flavoring as refreshing but combined with koolada it is. The licorice leaves a bit of an aftertaste and the ice provides a memorable throat hit. Like I said, this flavor is not for everyone but anyone who has ever chewed a stick of Black Jack Gum might want to give it a try.

Hangsen - Mint Strawberry

Jide Yao created the world's first PG/VG e-liquid back in 2005 and is also the man who created RY4 which is one of the most popular e-liquid flavors in the world. Today Jide Yao is CEO of Hangsen which is the largest manufacturer of e-liquid in the world.  Hansen e-juice is sold in over 80 countries around the world.

Vape Club carries Hangsen e-liquid along with a host of other brands. Vape Club sent us several bottles of e-liquid to review and the first one I decided to try was Hansen's Mint Strawberry.

Hangsen's Mint Strawberry smells like fresh strawberries in a bottle. This is an interesting flavor as it is blended in such a way that neither the menthol nor the strawberry flavoring is overwhelming. It is a very pleasant tasting e-juice that tastes both like menthol with a hint of strawberry and strawberry with a menthol twist at the same time.

Hangsen's Mint Strawberry is an excellent example of why Hangsen e-liquids are so popular. It is very apparent that Hangsen knows how to perfect a flavor so that it is tasty and smooth while producing a satisfying amount of vapor and throat hit. Strawberry Mint is a perfect flavor for the summertime and can easily be vaped all day long.  Hangsen's Strawberry Mint is relatively inexpensive.  If you are looking for a great tasting e-liquid that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, look no further.

Ghetto eJuice - Banana Pudding

Venerable Vaping carries several lines of e-juice including Ghetto eJuice. According to their website, "Ghetto Juice = Any of the various varieties of excellent juices of crazy concoctions costing next to nothing." One of these "crazy concoctions" is a flavor named Ghetto Banana Pudding Juice.

Banana pudding is a rich dessert made of layers upon layers of vanilla custard, vanilla wafers, and slices of banana topped with whipped cream. Of course there are several different variations of this decadent dessert, but these are the main ingredients.

Ghetto eJuice's Banana Pudding flavor e-liquid tastes like ripe bananas mixed with creamy vanilla custard and whipped cream.  I'm not so sure I taste anything that reminds me of vanilla wafers, or any other cookie for that matter, but it definitely tastes like banana pudding with whipped cream.

Ghetto Banana Pudding Juice is a mild flavor that is slightly sweet, but not too sweet. The flavor of fresh ripe bananas is the first thing that you notice upon inhaling this creamy e-liquid. Hints of vanilla custard combine with the ripe banana flavoring making it taste very much like what you would expect a banana flavor pudding to taste like. The addition of what might be Bavarian cream adds a nice touch.

Overall, Ghetto Banana Pudding Juice is a nice choice if you like creamy ripe banana flavored e-juice. The banana is the dominant flavor with the custard and cream flavorings coming across more as a texture than as flavorings. Candy apples are whole apples coated with a hard bright red sugar candy coating and served on a stick. They are commonly found at fairs and are popular in the fall around Halloween. Great Vapes E-Juice has a Candy Apple flavor that is available with or without PG.

Great Vape's Candy Apple E-Liquid is available in both their "Natural and Organic" line and their "All Organic" line of e-liquids. The major difference between these two lines is the PG.  The Natural and Organic line contains PG while the All Organic line doesn't.

For this review, we have a bottle of Candy Apple from Great Vapes E-Juice's Natural and Organic line which contains both PG and VG. It is made with both red apple and green apple flavorings making it sweet with just a hint of tartness.

Great Vapes E-Juice's Candy Apple e-liquid tastes a bit like an apple flavor Jolly Rancher candy. It produces plenty of flavorful vapor and is rather tasty. Although it is flavorful, it is not a very bold flavor but rather mild.

Apple Candy comes in a brown glass bottle with a dropper. It is made with high quality natural and organic ingredients. Although this is a candy flavor it is not overly sweet and can easily be vaped for hours on end.

Omega Vape - Chronos

Omega Vape's Chronos is a gourmet e-liquid made with white chocolate, toasted marshmallow and vanilla cream.  The result is one very rich and delicious dessert vape that produces tons of creamy and flavorful vapor.

Slightly sweet, Chronos tastes like a toasted marshmallow combined with hints of vanilla and white chocolate. It's amazing how it replicates both the texture and flavor of a toasted marshmallow.

Omega Vape's Chronos is one of those rare dessert vapes that you can easily vape all day. There is no getting tired of this flavor. Chronos is made with premium ingredients and comes in a glass bottle with a dropper.
