ZampleBox #2

Hmmm, has the novelty worn off already?  I just received my second ZampleBox.  It appears that they have upgraded their packaging.  The box is now mostly "ZampleBox Green" complete with age restriction and potential health risk warnings.  I can't blame them for that!  There is also a "California Proposition 65" warning printed on the box, warning that the contents of the box contain nicotine, a chemical known to the state of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Zample Box
Enough of that, what is inside????  Several coupons and postcards with coupon codes and a green pouch full of e-juice.  This month there are six bottles of juice: Thunderhead Vapor - Gummy Bear;  Alpha Vape - Hoops;  503 - Pomegranate;  Golden Drops - DBG;  Hurricane Vapor - Cuban Coffee;  and Johnson Creek - Makana.

With the exception of Hurricane Vapor's "Cuban Coffee," it appears to be a lot of fruit flavored juice this month.  Hence the feeling of let down I am experiencing. Last month's selections were more appealing.  I was excited to try each and every one of them. I am not feeling the same way about this batch.  I am really hoping there is a pleasant surprise or two in this batch. In addition, the Bottle of DBG by Golden Drops is only a little over half full.  I do not know if this is intentional or not.

Ah, the doom and gloom.  It must be the weather.  What's not to like about a bunch of fruity flavors in December?  It could be worse, they could have sent six bottles of vegetable juice, right?  It all adds up to over 60 ml of juice for $19.99 plus shipping. Those days are over however.  Anyone signing on from here on in will be paying a bit more.  The early bird deal is over.  Plans now start at $24.99 a month, which is still a good deal.

  1. And yet... I'm sure some people are thrilled to unveil all that fruity goodness. Keeping in mind they can't please everyone-- it's actually part of the reason I didn't jump into the Zamplebox pool, myself. Most, while they might "try" anything, usually typically stick to 1 category of flavors. The whole monthly sample thing is such a great idea.. but containing such a wide variety of flavors & 1 (or varied) nic choice.. didn't really appeal to me (esp. since it wouldn't be cost-effective either, as I could blindly point/order myself, ya know?) Now, if/when someone offers a box where all contents could be 24 (or 18, I guess) mg nicotine... with, in addition to the variety currently offered (since some may like that) more category specific boxes (like maybe a bakery one... sweets... fruits... menthol... tobacco.. exotic.. etc) too... Oh yeah...... ALL over it. =) Happy vaping!

    1. Hi Amanda,

I think ZampleBox is a great idea. I don't really mind getting all fruit juice as long is it doesn't happen every month. (The first box was more varied, so I assume this won't always be the case). I think ZampleBox needs to find a awy to address the nicotine level issue however. I think this is the #1 reason some people who were interested have not subscribed, and why some who did canceled. In any case, it's new, they are trying to work out the kinks. This month it was all 6mg. In January there will be an 18 mg option as well. And yeah, category specific boxes would be awesome, but until they figure the nicotine level issue out.... :-)

    2. Hey Cat.. I wouldn't mind all the fruits either... but would have minded the more varied choices in month 1.. as well as the 6mg. Seems these things are popping up all over the place now, I seem to see a new one every other day... one of which, might be onto the whole nic level and category choices... Will be keeping an eye on that one. (a little birdie saw that you're getting a freebie of it sent to review.. can't wait to hear your thoughts) ps: Merry Christmas! =)

    3. Hi Amanda,

Yes, and I am looking forward to reviewing that product as they seem to have it together as far as what people want (the nic level of their choice and flavors that they are sure to like). I already wrote about their service here, so reviewing the actual product will allow me to answer any questions about quality and we will see.

As for ZampleBox, it works for me as I am a reviewer and it delivers a variety of juice that I may never have tried otherwise to my door. I vape low nic or no nic and receiving a few bottles of high nic was however no joy! Sample, review and pif!!!! :-) Merry Christmas to you too!!!!
