Hi-C's Ecto Cooler was a "toxic-green" colored juice made with lemon, lime, orange and tangerine juices. And, oh yeah, lots of sugar. It was marketed as an orange/tangerine flavored juice made to tie in with with The Real Ghostbusters animated cartoon tv series in 1986. It became instantly popular and just about every kid in the country was drinking it. Hi-C intended to market Ecto Cooler for the lifetime of the tv series, but when the show was cancelled in 1991, it was still very popular so they continued to sell it until 2001. At this point they renamed it Shoutin’ Orange Tangergreen as they feared that the new generation of kids had no idea who "Slimer," the Ghostbusters character, was. The product underwent another name change in 2006, becoming Crazy Citrus Cooler. It was then discontinued in 2007. This is a refreshing, tangy, sweet and sour vape with hints of lemon, orange and tangerine. I don't normally go for fruit juices myself, but when I asked Malikite, one of the hosts on Freak Show Inc, which e-juice I should try next, he did not hesitate and handed me a eGo with a tankful of Black Cloud's Ecto Cooler to try. It cleared the cobwebs from my mind, bringing back memories of drinking Hi-C. This is a refreshing and memorable vape for sure. Try it.
