Down Home Vaping - Tigers Tail

Down Home Vaping - Tigers Tail e-liquidDown Home Vaping's Tigers Tail is a unique blend of orange cream and blueberry flavorings. This is a very special e-liquid named for "those Auburn fans." For those of you who are not into college football, the Auburn Tigers are Auburn University's football team. Their colors are blue and orange, which explains the choice of flavors in this tasty e-liquid.

Tigers Tail is not a bold e-liquid.  It is rather mild and light. It produces plenty of vapor which seems to be mostly orange cream on the inhales and blueberry on the exhale. Overall, Tigers Tail is a creamy blend.  Both the orange cream and the blueberry flavoring seem to have a creamy texture.

Tigers Tail makes for a pleasant vape.  Personally, I wouldn't mind if it were a little stronger and a bit bolder, but it is what it is, and it's good. I'm pleased with all of the vapor and am enjoying the bottle.  If I recall, I won this juice from Vapor Curt on FreakShow on Vapers TV.

Down Home Vaping - Merica

As summertime approaches, I find myself going back to vaping fruity summertime flavors. Today I found a bottle of Down Home Vaping's Merica in my steeping cabinet. I won this about a month or so ago from Vapor Curt and Brandon Trey on Freakshow Inc on vapor.tv.

Merica is a blend of strawberry, blueberry, star fruit and vanilla cupcake.  The berry flavors seem to be the boldest with the vanilla cupcake adding another layer of interest to the mix. To be honest, I have never eaten star fruit, so am not familiar with what it tastes like. From what I understand, there is a sweet variety and a sour variety.  I am not picking up on anything sour here, so Merica must be made with the sweet variety.

The one thing that impressed me most about Merica when I first started vaping it was the amount of vapor it produces. Compared to several e-liquids I have loaded in other devices and am rotating with Merica, I find that Merica seems to produces the most vapor of the bunch.  I have five different flavors going at the moment. Merica is #1 of the five in terms of vapor production.

As far as flavor goes, Merica is neither bold nor mild.  It is flavorful enough to satisfy and it tastes good. The combination of blueberry, strawberry, star fruit and vanilla cupcakes works well together. It is a very pleasant tasting flavor that does not disappoint. Although it is sweet, Merica is not overly sweet.  It is sweet as a cupcake should be. Overall, everything about it can be said to be "just right."

Down Home Vaping - Blue Nutz

Back in December I won a bottle of e-juice from Down Home Vaping while tuned into Twisted Tuesdays with Vapor Curt. Looking at Down Home Vaping's flavor menu, I was attracted to Blue Nutz, but decided to go with a flavor called Christmas Morning as it would soon be pulled from the lineup until next year. This turned out to be a wise decision as it wasn't long before I won another bottle from Down Home Vaping. This time I requested Blue Nutz.

Blue Nutz - Down Home Vaping
As soon as I opened the bottle, I smelled fresh coconut and other fruity delights. I really wanted to try this e-juice, so I loaded up a tankful. What I tasted reminded me of a creamy smooth pina colada with a spot of orange juice. A pina colada is a sweet, rum-based cocktail made with rum, cream of coconut and pineapple juice. It is the official beverage of Puerto Rico and is a very popular tropical flavor drink.

I put the bottle away to steep. It no longer reminds me so much of a pina colada.  I still taste lots of creamy coconut.  I also taste blueberry and hints of vanilla. The coconut is the dominant flavor.

I am not one for fruity flavors, but I really like this e-liquid.  It produces quite a bit of vapor, it's creamy, and it simply tastes good. So, here you have it, blueberry coconutz with a hint of vanilla.  It's definitely a yummy treat and an e-juice you can vape all day if you like.

Down Home Vaping - Christmas Morning

A bottle of Down Home Vaping's Christmas Morning arrived in my mailbox earlier today. Usually I open the package and place the juice in my steeping cabinet rather than trying it right away.  Being that Christmas is almost upon us, and that Christmas Morning is only available for purchase until the end of December, I decided I better give it a go, steeped or not.

I won this bottle from Vapor Curt on Freakshow TV.  I had my pick of any juice on Down Home Vaping's menu.  I really wanted to try Blue Nutz, but Christmas Morning caught my eye.  How could I pass up an opportunity to try a limited edition e-juice?  I did not want to wait another year.

Christmas Morning is a peppermint mocha cappuccino blend. The good news is it tastes great straight out of the mailbox.  The peppermint seems to be the dominant flavor at first, with the mocha and cappuccino flavoring playing a supporting role.  Keep in mind, this e-juice has had not had time to steep, so it might be a different story in a week or two.

After vaping Christmas Morning for several hours, and the next morning, I find that the mocha and cappuccino flavoring is now just as strong as the peppermint. Everything seems to come together in perfect harmony.

Christmas Morning reminds me of all the wonderful peppermint mocha flavored coffees and coffee creamers that are easily found in the supermarket, Starbucks, McDonald's, and Duncan Donuts at this time of year.  The addition of cappuccino flavoring, in addition to mocha, makes this juice unique.

If you are looking for a special Christmas holiday coffee vape, this is it.
