Golden Drops describes their GD4 e-liquid as "Caramel, Chocolate and Nut all mixed and combined in vape form. A re-imagining of the classic RY4 taste. A great tasting, nostalgic and thoroughly enjoyable E-Liquid."

The classic RY4 flavor that they are referring to traditionally consists of three flavors: a tobacco base, caramel and vanilla. The tobacco is usually very mild, while the caramel component is the strongest of the three. There are many versions of RY4 out there, but to be considered a true RY4, a liquid has to consist of these three components.

Golden Drop's has replaced the vanilla component with chocolate and named this combination GD4. So, how does it compare?

After vaping the entire bottle, I found that GD4 is a very light and mild tobacco flavor.  I did not taste much in the way of chocolate or caramel.  I'm not saying those flavors are not in the mix, just that they are very subtle. The overall flavor is extremely light and mild, which many people will find quite pleasing, and will disappoint others.  Being that the overall flavor is so mild, and the chocolate and caramel flavorings are very subtle, it is really hard to say how it compares to a traditional RY4 flavor.

GD4 produces large clouds of vapor. This is a perfect liquid for those who enjoy blowing clouds and enjoy the experience of vaping an ultra light tobacco based e-juice. Those who enjoy bolder and stronger flavors will be disappointed however.

Golden Drops Tangerine Popsies e-liquid is meant to taste like a luscious tangerine popsicle. A popsicle is a frozen snack made by freezing liquid, such as fruit juice, around a stick. Once frozen, it's a cold and tasty treat that is very popular, especially in the summertime.

I've been vaping quite a bit of this e-liquid and am not getting much in the way of flavor. Even with a brand new coil and a fresh charged battery, all I am really getting from this e-juice is a pleasant aftertaste which I can only describe as "refreshing."

I consulted a friend who I know has a bottle of her own. I wanted to make sure it's not just me or a bad bottle.  She said, "Yes, I filled an aerotank with it expecting a nice citrus flavor. I did get some orange, but it has this awful koolada flavor. That's when I looked at the bottle again and saw it said 'tangerine popsie' or something like that, so I'm guessing it is supposed to be like some orange popsicle. I hate koolada."  Then she added, "Or maybe it's just straight-up menthol with orange. Whatever it is, I'm not a fan."

Well that explains the pleasant and refreshing aftertaste, menthol or koolada. As for me, I do not get orange or tangerine at all. It does produce a nice amount of vapor, but I prefer flavorful vapor. Try it if you like.  As for me, I think I'll buy a real popsicle. Hopefully your bottle will be better than ours.

Golden Drops - Teddy Bears

With a name like Teddy Bears, this has to be Golden Drop's version of gummy bear e-juice. Gummy bears are a colorful fruit flavored candies that were originally made using gum arabic as the base ingredient. There are two versions of gummy bears sold in the United States.  Those manufactured by Haribro come in five flavors:  raspberry (red); orange (orange); strawberry (green); pineapple (colorless); and lemon (yellow). Trolli's gummy bears are the same colors, however, Trolli's red bear is strawberry-flavored, while the green is lime and the colorless is grape.

So does Golden Drop's Teddy Bears e-liquid measure up?  I expected this e-liquid to be much sweeter than it is. It reminds me more of flowers than it does candy.  Yes, I feel like I am vaping a tankful of delicate flowers. It's not a bad e-juice, but I don't get gummy, sugary fruit flavored candy from it.  Teddy Bears is pleasant enough, but I really can't distinguish any specific flavor.  Don't get me wrong, it's not flavorless, but I just can't say what flavor or flavors are dancing on my taste buds.

According to Golden Drops, "The three letters in DGB don't stand for anything related to the flavor, but it signifies for Golden Drops a sweet relief after a long pursuit."  My guess is that it stands for "Desert Botanical Garden."

Golden Drop's DBG e-liquid really took me by surprise.  DBG is an exotic citrus based blend that is very complex.  It is light and refreshing, much like a floral vape.  At first I thought it tasted like 7-Up with a sprig of mint garnish.

As I sit here exhaling huge clouds of vapor, I feel like I am vaping a glass of lemon-lime soda laced with menthol. It is fresh and clean tasting, as well as sweet and tart.

DBG is very sweet and smooth at lower wattages.  As I crank the wattage up, the flavoring becomes more complex. I am not sure, but there may be a hint of orange in addition to the lemon and lime. DBG is very tasty no matter where I set the wattage. It seems, however, that the higher I go, the more complex the flavor. I think I could vape this juice everyday, all day long.

Golden Drops E-Juice has a motto, and that is "Vape What You Drink."

Sex on the Beach is a popular and delicious cocktail made with vodka, Peach Schnapps, orange juice and cranberry juice. It usually includes a slice of orange and a maraschino cherry for garnish. Golden Drops has blended these very same flavors together into a delicious and refreshing e-juice so those of you that enjoy Sex on the Beach can vape it as well as drink it.

At first I thought this juice tasted like a sweet, fresh, ripe, juicy cantaloupe. It also tasted cold.  I don't know if "cold" is a flavor, but it is as though they somehow managed to recreate the sensation that you would get from the ice in a glassful of Sex on the Beach. The complexity of this juice becomes apparent the more I vape it.  I begin to pick up on peach and cranberry undertones.  And, yes, the orange juice flavoring. It is an interesting vape that is both sweet and flavorful.

Golden Drops Sex on the Beach really grows on you as you vape it and vape it some more. Sex on the Beach is very sweet and seems to have that syrupy texture that you would expect from the Peach Schapps component. I'm beginning to pick up vodka as well, and at times feel like I'm sucking on that slice of orange used as a garnish.

So, would you like a glass?  I mean bottle. This may present a bit of a challenge as Golden Drops is headquartered in Quezon City, Philippines.  If you live in, or visit, the Philippines or Malaysia, it may prove easy.  If you are in the U.S. your options are limited.  The company has a Facebook page which includes a list of re-sellers in the U.S.
