Tiramisu is a popular coffee-flavored Italian cake.  It is made with ladyfingers that are dipped in coffee and layered with a mixture of whipped egg yolks, egg whites, sugar and mascarpone cheese, flavored with cocoa.  This basic recipe has been adapted into many varieties of desserts, some which include additional ingredients such as rum, amaretto or brandy.
