Five Pawns - Grandmaster

Five Pawns Grandmaster is one of the most delightful e-liquids I have ever had the pleasure of vaping. Smooth and creamy, this peanut butter, banana cream and caramel e-liquid left an impression on my tastebuds that I am not about to forget any time soon. At $27.50 a bottle, it is not a juice I will likely be vaping very often, but it's nice to have experienced at least once.

You may wonder why this e-liquid has such a high price tag.  According to their website, all of Five Pawns liquids are made by hand in very small batches. Each batch consists of roughly 160 bottles.  Each of the original five flavors took roughly six months to develop and perfect.  Five Pawn's quality control ensures that all liquid leaving their facility meets their high standards or they do not allow it to be released for sale.

In addition, Five Pawns uses natural USP / food grade ingredients and premium pharmaceutical grade nicotine in their products. They disclose the main ingredients and flavorings but keep a few others that enhance the taste secret. All of their blends are 50/50 VG/PG and only come in 30 ml bottles.

Grandmaster is one of five of their Signature Liquids, along with Castle Long Reserve, Absolute Pin, Gambit, Queenside and Bowden's Mate. I was able to sample each of these flavors and Grandmaster was the one that stood out as the "if I can only have one to take home with me, which shall it be?" bottle.

When opening the bottle you are greeted with the aroma of natural ripe bananas and peanut butter. It turns out to be quite a complex vape with layers of flavors. The first thing I tasted was a light creamy peanut butter followed by natural ripe banana with a chocolate undertone. This initial sensation is followed by a spicy sensation and a subtle hint of caramel. It seems that every inhale and exhale presents these flavorings in a different order.

The vapor production is superb. It is rich, dense and aromatic. The price of the bottle is definitely worth the experience. Everyone has to try Five Pawns at least once in their life.
