With 2,000 people viewing, and a little over two hundred prizes, viewers had a one in ten chance of winning a prize during the show. Those are not bad odds. The very first winner was "ricardomon". Way to go, ricardoman.
Mod Envy airs Saturday nights at 10 pm eastern time. The show has five hosts: Vapor Joe, Smokie, Nitrobix, Mandycat and Tiny Vapor.
Vapor Joe is the owner of Vapor Joe's which is one of the largest e-cig sites on the internet. Joe likes to save people money and constantly posts deals on his site. According to Joe, his blog was created for the sole purpose of saving you money. And that is what he does. It's hard to find a better deal than the ones that Joe posts on his site and social media pages. Saving you money is his hobby.
Smokie is one of the most respected reviewers in the vaping and e-cig community. According to his bio, Smokie is just a middle class guy who has been vaping for four years and wants to make other people aware that e-cigarettes have helped him breathe again, and may have added additional years to his life. His reviews are meant to make vapors aware of both the good and the bad products on the market. His reviews can be found via links on social sites like Facebook, Google Plus and Twitter. You can view his video reviews on YouTube.
Nitrobex is a former smoker who used to smoke Camel wides and temporarily switched to e-cigs for insurance purposes. He realized that liked vaping more than smoking and made the switch permanent. He started with Blu e-cigarettes and worked his way up to more advanced vaping products. In time he started reviewing e-juice as people told him his opinions were straight forward and to the point. You can read his reviews on his blog and watch his video reviews on YouTube.
Vaping Mandycat started vaping over two years ago and is on a mission to help others quit smoking. After switching to e-cigs, she found that her health had improved and she wanted to help others do the same. Mandycat created a Facebook group called Vapors Lounge and a YouTube channel to help show vapors how to use e-cigs. Mandycat is also an e-liquid vendor. You can purchase her liquids at Timeless Vapor.
And then we have Tiny Vapor. Her real name is Catelin. She started vaping in 2008 with a 902 pen style e-cigarette. Three days after she started vaping, she had completely stopped smoking as cigarettes made her gag. It's been over five years and Tiny Vapor has not looked back. Vaping has turned into a hobby for her and she is into rebuilding. Tiny vapor has a YouTube channel where she posts videos on diverse vaping subjects.
If you haven't paid a visit to Mod Envy, you should. It's a great show. You can learn a lot about the many products on the market: mods, batteries, tanks, e-liquid, and everything in-between. And, if you are lucky, you may win some new gear or juice.
Mod Envy is a very fast paced show and is guaranteed not to bore you. The show airs from 10 pm - 12 am but often runs over. After the show you can usually join the cast and other viewers on an on After Hours. If you can only watch one vape show, this would be the one to choose. As they say, "Love us or hate us, you watch us."
If you do Facebook, be sure to join Mod Envy's group to keep abreast of what's happening. And, oh by the way, it's almost 3 AM and the Anniversary show is still going strong. They still have over 90 give-a-aways to get through. As for me, I'm going to bed. What a top notch production and generous way to celebrate!
Thank you for your kind words about Mod Envy, and all us hosts. Vape On
