The Vape Juice Shop's Black Label Apple Pie  tastes exactly how you would expect a fresh out of the oven homemade apple pie to taste.  Both the apple flavoring and the pie crust flavoring are spot on, as well as delicious.

Black Label Apple Pie produces loads of flavorful vapor.  Upon inhaling, the apple flavor comes forth first, with the pie crust flavor coming forth as you begin to exhale.  The apple is a nice natural apple flavoring.  It is sweet, but not too sweet. It is somewhat tart like a green Granny Smith apple with hints of cinnamon and spice.  As for the crust, it reminds me of a flaky homemade pie crust.

Black Label Apple Pie is a high quality 50/50 PG/VG e-liquid made fresh when ordered. It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. While Black Label Apple Pie may become an all day vape for some, it is a dessert vape. I think it goes well with a nice hot cup of coffee in the morning or after dinner.

I received a 5 ml sample of Blueberry Muffin e-liquid shortly after it became an official flavor. I found that the juice needed to steep a bit before the flavoring stood out.  There's nothing unusual about that.  Some juices are ready to vape straight out of the vapemail box and others aren't.

When I begin to vape Blueberry Muffin first thing in the morning, I can taste a very sweet and delicious blueberry flavoring on the inhale. The problem is, for me, that the more I vape it, the more the flavor fades and eventually becomes undetectable. I can still taste the "muffin" part, but not the blueberry.  It's a shame, as when I do taste it, it tastes like a sweet blueberry straight off the bush.

I thought the problem might be fatigued taste buds, but I have found this happens every time I try this e-juice - this month, last month, the month before that. I looked at customer reviews and just about everyone who has reviewed it gives it five stars. I found an independent review elsewhere.  The reviewer said basically said it's not too sweet, not too strong and tastes like a muffin.

Ok so?  It may just be this particular bottle, or it may be me. I can tell you, it turned a pretty blueberry color after steeping.  And I love the taste until the blueberry flavoring fades away.

With the exception of their tobacco e-juice and mint flavors, Vanilla Custard is one of the very few flavors on the Vape Juice Shop's menu that does not contain fruit flavoring. Up until this point, they have pretty much specialized in exotic and flavorful fruit based liquids. As you can see, all of the juice options in the Black Label line, with the exception of Vanilla Custard, contain fruit flavoring as well.

So, how did they do when they decided to stray from their specialty? I'd say they did a bang up job. Vanilla Custard tastes exactly like a rich and robust vanilla custard e-liquid should.

Custard is a blend of milk or cream and egg yolk. Custard varies in consistency depending upon how much egg or thickener is used.  Some custards are made to serve as a "thin" sauce which is poured over a cake or other dessert, while others are thick pastry creams used to fill eclairs. Others fall somewhere between these two extremes, like the creamy custard used to make flan.  For the most part, custards are used as desserts or dessert sauces and typically include sugar and vanilla in the recipe. Some custard bases are used in quiches and other savory foods.

The Vape Juice Shop's Vanilla Custard reminds me of the rich, creamy custard used to make desserts like flan. It makes for a very smooth and flavorful vape. I don't think it could possibly taste any closer to vanilla custard than it already does.  Its a perfect balance of vanilla and custard.  It's rich and creamy as well as sweet, but not too sweet.  Can an e-liquid be said to be perfect? I don't know, but this one comes very close. It may or may not be the best vanilla custard e-juice out there, but I would go as far as saying it is one of the best.

Oh this is nice.  Really nice. There is no mistaking the flavor.  The name says it all. Although it does not bring tears to your eyes, Cinnamint is a red hot cinnamon laced with mint. It really freshens your breath and makes your mouth feel fresh and clean. It sort of reminds me of a cross between a candy cane and Big Red chewing gum. And it produces an awesome amount of vapor.  There is no doubt in my mind that The Vape Shop uses quality ingredients in their liquids and does not skimp on flavoring.

In 2004, researchers at the University of Illinois in Chicago found that cinnamon flavored gum has an antibacterial effect and kills bacteria in the mouth.   I don't know why, but I have a hunch that vaping Cinnamint might have the same effect. Don't worry, it doesn't taste like mouthwash.  It's a very flavorful and tasty vape. And it doubles as a breath freshener, what more can you ask for?

I noticed that Cinnamint is their #1 Bestseller. As it turns out,  that was a wise decision.

I can't wait to give that a try, but first I want to enjoy this for awhile.  It's so good, I don't want to put it down. And I love playing with the vapor.  You know, blowing smoke rings, holding it in and exhaling out of my nose, and again through my mouth.  That type of thing. Although very spicy and minty, it's a good relaxation vape.

And wow, I haven't even let it steep yet!
