Tampa Vapor - E Deux

Tampa Vapor's E Deux is a tasty citrus e-liquid that tastes a lot like the ever popular Mountain Dew soft drink.

Mountain Dew is a carbonated beverage that was invented in 1940 by Barney and Ally Hartman. It was first marketed in Marion, Virginia and Johnson City, Tennessee with the slogan "Ya-Hoo, Mountain Dew. It'll tickle your innards." A revised formula of the drink was created by Bill Bridgforth in 1958. In 1964, Pepsi-Cola bought the brand and production rights.

Between 1940 and the 1980s, there was only one version of Mountain Dew. This was the citrus-flavored version that most people are familiar with. Diet Mountain Dew premiered in 1988, followed by Mountain Dew Red. In 2001, a cherry version debuted as Code Red, and there are now other specialty version served at Taco Bell and 7-Eleven.

Tampa Vapor's E-Deux replicates the flavor of the original citrus flavor Mountain Dew. Like the beverage, orange juice is the predominant flavoring with what may be a hint of tangerine. E-Deux is sweet and refreshing and comes as close as you can get to a Mountain Dew flavor in an an e-liquid.  If you are a fan of the beverage, this e-liquid is sure to please you.

When we started our series of reviews of Tampa Vapor's e-liquids, they did not have an on-line store. If you wanted to order from them, you had to go in person or place an order by phone, Those days are over. Tampa Vapor's website is now live and you can place orders through it. They have yet to finish uploading all of their products into the database. E Deux seems to be one of the missing products. Again, E Deux is a great tasking citrus flavor e-liquid that tastes like Mt. Dew. Be sure to give it a try if this is the type of vape you enjoy!  It's good!

"Cat's Pajamas" is a slang phrase from the 1920's used to describe something or someone that is "the best" and is therefore highly sought after and desirable.

So, the question is, does the name fit this e-liquid?

Tampa Vapor's Cat's Pajamas is slightly sweet, as well as creamy and nutty, with rich tobacco undertones. The predominant flavor in this blend is the nutty caramel flavoring, but the tobacco flavoring does not take a backseat, the two flavors blend and complement each other nicely.

Cat's Pajama's tastes like a smooth, high quality RY4 blend.  I believe there is something more to this e-juice, however.  Maybe a touch of Irish cream? A tiny bit of coffee in the form of cappuccino?  Maybe a touch of mocha?  It's hard to tell. It has me guessing.

Cat's Pajamas is one of three e-liquids in Tampa Vapor's premier line, along with Bananas Foster and 2Die4.  All three of these flavors are very smooth and rich, and made from quality ingredients. And all three are delicious!

Tampa Vapor - Bananas Foster

Tampa Vapor's Bananas Foster tastes very much like the famous dessert it is named after. It's a sweet, creamy banana flavor e-juice with caramel and rum undertones.

Bananas Foster is a dessert made with bananas, vanilla ice cream, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, dark rum and banana liqueur.  The butter, sugar and bananas are cooked and then the alcohol is added and ignited. The bananas and resulting sauce are then served over ice cream. This wonderful dessert was created in 1951 by Paul Blange at Brennan's Restaurant in New Orleans. Blange named it after Owen Brennan, the chairman of the New Orleans Crime Commission.

Tampa Vapor did a good job with this e-juice. Unlike the classic dessert, they don't ignite it before serving it to you. You may have to provide your own ice cream, but this e-juice tastes pretty close to what you expect from the rest of the recipe. It's a very complex flavor and they pulled it off. Tampa Vapor's Banana Foster is a flavor that will please those who like rich, creamy dessert vapes.

Tampa Vapor's 2Die4 is a very bold and flavorful e-juice that will rock your mouth. It tastes like a York Peppermint Patty and then some.  Think about Girls Scout cookies.  Thin mints ring a bell?



At the moment, getting your hands on a bottle of 2Die4 requires a visit to Tampa Vapor's store in Tampa, Fl, a phone call, or a visit to to one of The Violet Flame & Rockin Vapor's three locations in the Tampa Bay Area.

Looking at Tampa Vapor's Facebook page, someone asked when they will be able to order on-line and the answer is "You can always call us! We take phone orders every day!
